Connecting the Dots | Creative Workshop for Veterans

About this event

Veterans across Oklahoma have been showing up, getting creative, and coming back for more. Now it's Glenpool's turn! We're bringing our signature Connecting the Dots workshop to the Mighty VFW Post 9126, and we'd love to have you join us. What's the deal, you ask? We use Morse code, rhythm, percussion, and mask painting to get creative, have some fun, and connect with people who get you. It's designed and led by Veterans, probably different from anything you've tried before... and that's part of the sauce, boss. Here's something we love about art: sometimes words don't quite cut it. Turns out, there are a whole lot of other ways to express yourself. We'll show you a few. No artistic talent required. No musical experience necessary. No clinical anything, and absolutely no pressure to do anything you don't want to do. Just Veterans, artists, and a couple of hours to try something new together. 📅 **Sunday, October 25 | Noon–2 PM** 📍 **VFW Post 9126 | Glenpool, OK** 🇺🇸 **FREE for Veterans of all branches and eras** 🖍️ **There will be food.** More info & RSVP link at http://www.sparklahoma.org/schedule Walk-ins are welcome, but RSVPs help us plan.
