Recovery in Motion is a weekly, 2-Hour adaptive fitness program designed specifically for veterans of all abilities and their families. Held every Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Santa Fe Family Life Center, the program focuses on improving strength, mobility, cardiovascular health, and overall well-being in a safe and supportive environment. Each session will offer participants access to play Pickleball, utilize stationary Cardio Exercise Equipment, and Weight Room equipment for targeted muscle movement, peer to peer play, and creative strength training to address service-related injuries while having fun. The fluidity of available session activities is intentionally designed to meet people where they are so that veterans and their families can enjoy adaptive fitness at their own pace. Beyond physical fitness, Recovery in Motion fosters a strong sense of community by encouraging connection, peer support, and camaraderie among participants. The goal is to empower veterans to stay active, build confidence, and enhance their quality of life through consistent movement and shared experience.
