EAGLE OPS - Jiu-Jitsu RP

Jiu-Jitsu RP - an Eagle OPS Rally Point. Rally Points are free, recurring peer connection events where veterans, service members, first responders, and family show up, connect, and stay connected. Come as you are - we're stronger together. Normally meets: 4th Friday. Rolls & Resilience Eagle OPS Jiu Jitsu Rally Point The Eagle OPS Jiu Jitsu Rally Point is an opportunity for veterans to come together through the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - building community, connection, resilience, and camaraderie one roll at a time. This is your chance to get a little R&R - Rolls & Resilience. Step away from the noise, get on the mat, challenge yourself, and reconnect through movement, shared effort, and time well spent together. This Rally Point is open to all veterans - men and women alike. No prior knowledge or skill is required. Whether you’ve never trained before or have years of experience, you are welcome here. ⸻ What Is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu? Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling-based martial art focused on technique, leverage, and control rather than strength or size. It teaches practitioners how to stay calm under pressure, solve problems in real time, and adapt when situations don’t go as planned. For veterans, these principles are familiar. BJJ reinforces many of the same traits developed through military service: • Staying composed in uncomfortable positions • Making calculated decisions under stress • Trusting your training and your teammates • Embracing controlled adversity to grow stronger On the mat, you are constantly challenged - physically and mentally. You learn to manage pressure, recover from setbacks, and keep moving forward. Every roll becomes a lesson in persistence and adaptability. That’s where the resilience is built. Beyond the physical benefits, BJJ creates shared effort and shared progress - a structured environment where veterans can reconnect through discipline, movement, and mutual respect. ⸻ When & Where Location: Burdette Jiu Jitsu https://burdettejiujitsu.com/ We are grateful to Burdette Jiu Jitsu for serving as our Rally Point location and graciously hosting our mat space.
